Covid-19 Safety Protocol
As of May 4th San Francisco, has released the following statement.
“All construction will be allowed to resume, provided that builders can comply with health and safety guidelines. Separate rules will be put in place, depending on the size of the project.”
With this relaxing of construction protocol, it is advised that all business inform customers of their safety practices. This is meant to help keep both customers and me safe during projects.
Please remember that shelter in place requirement for all those 65 years of age or considered high risk are not included in any relaxation until Stage 4.
A couple of special situations that are concerns for handyman services:

A couple of special situations that are concerns for handyman services:
- Work is being done in an occupied residence increasing possible infection.
- Tools are being taken into residence from outside sources.
- Materials are purchased from outside sources.
- Social distancing of 6 feet must be observed by both resident and service personnel.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Facemask must be worn by both resident and service personnel.
- Gloves will be worn by service personnel
- Hand sanitizer or alcohol disinfectant will be applied by service personnel each time entering and reentering residence.
- Tools and material
- Minimum amount of tool required to complete project will be taken in residence.
- Tools and materials will be sprayed with disinfectant or alcohol spray prior to entering.
- No tools should be touched by resident.
- Miscellaneous
- I will only take on one service call per day. This will minimize any added possibility of contamination from multiple locations.
- I will minimize in store material purchases on same day of service.
- Recommendations after job is completed
- Open window to allow air circulation.
- Clean area of project for your own protection.
- Payment

- I will provide envelope to put cash or check payment in to minimize contact.
